Vaccine mandates in U.S. and Canada expected to add to trucker shortage

Thousands of Canadian truckers protested vaccine mandates over the weekend. They were met with scores of supporters along the route.

Both the U.S. and Canada now require all truckers to be vaccinated if they cross the border.

The Canadian Trucker Alliance estimates it will put 32,000 drivers out of work. Farm Bureau President, Zippy Duvall says that mandates will cause grocery shortages to get worse, and says that Homeland Security gave farmers and ranchers no time to prepare for the mandate.
