The U.S. has a new major buyer of live cattle

A major animal exporter says the U.S. needs to better target growing countries for livestock exports.

Traditionally, China has seen most of our livestock exports, but Clayton Agri-Marketing says the top two importers of U.S. live cattle in the last three years have been Pakistan and Vietnam.

Covid policies and strict live animal protocols have made it nearly impossible to move animals throughout China.
