The field of agriculture law is broad. There are numerous legal issues that farmers and ranchers often face from livestock confinement to state-specific farming regulations.
Roger McOwen with the Washburn School of Law joined us Monday morning on Market Day Report to break down a few of the most recent court developments, including the takeaways from a recent case regarding “medium-sized confined animal farming operations.” He also shared his insight on another recent case that focused on the Domesticated Animal Activity Act and what farmers need to know about the court’s decision.
