Here’s how you should prepare your combine for next year

A row of combines

It is never too early to start preparing your combine for next year, especially with winter upon us.

Before you put your equipment up and out of mind for the year, CNH Industrial recommends starting your combine and letting it run while you do a walk-around inspection, that way you can make sure there is nothing wrong.

John Deere suggests cleaning your machine. Some of the most common damages found when getting your combine out of storage are caused by unwelcomed guests that have been there all winter. They also say to tackle maintenance now and not delay until the spring, including changing oil, cleaning radiators, or topping off fluids.
