Hailey Kinsel and Sister Win CNFR and Advance to THE AMERICAN Semi-Finals

June 17, 2017

Following a phenomenal performance at the College National Finals Rodeo, DM Sissy Hayday AKA “Sister” just took Hailey Kinsel to the winner’s circle in Casper, Wyoming. Not only did Kinsel earn the 2017 CNFR Barrel Racing Champion title, she also secured a spot to compete at RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Semi-Finals in 2018.

“She just stepped up to the plate so great,” Kinsel said in the back of the alley way after her big win. “I’m really excited that I don’t have to go to a qualifier to get this horse qualified, cause I was looking at them [qualifiers] and they are so dang tough this year. I may try and get another qualification to the Semi-Finals.”

Last February Kinsel and Sister took home over $20,000 during RFD-TV’s The American Semi-Finals, held in Fort Worth, Texas. Then the duo racked up $433,333 after winning the barrel racing shoot-out in AT&T Stadium. They’ll have another chance for their share of a $1,000,000 purse in 2018, as winners in the seven traditional rodeo events at the CNFR will earn an exemption to RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Semi-Finals

“I’m just super excited to get to go back there. Sis apparently liked it,” Kinsel said with a winner’s grin and nod. “We’re gonna dang sure try again.”
