Anticipation for the August Crop Progress Report

The highly anticipated August Crop Progress Report is being released Thursday, August 10th at 12 PM ET. Chief of USDA’s NASS Crops Branch, Lance Honig, joined us today to discuss why this report is in fact, so highly anticipated. He explained that this report contains information on over 20 different crops and includes their first survey-based yield and production forecast for major row crops.
