Subprocessor Disclosure

Rural Media Group, Inc. (“RMG”) uses certain subprocessors (including members of the RMG group of companies and third parties, as listed below), subcontractors and content delivery networks to assist it in providing services described in the RMG License Agreement, Terms of Service, or other agreement setting forth the terms of services that RMG provides to you (the “Agreement”).

About Subprocessors

A subprocessor is a third party data processor engaged by RMG, including entities from within the RMG group, who has or potentially will have access to or process customer or contributor information, which may contain Personal Data. RMG undertakes to use a commercially reasonable due diligence process to evaluate the security, privacy and confidentiality practices of proposed subprocessors that will or may have access to or process any RMG data. RMG requires its subprocessors to agree to certain terms and conditions governing the use of customer information and Personal Data, including but not limited to the requirements to:

• Only process Personal Data in accordance with a data controller’s documented instructions (as communicated in writing to the relevant subprocessor by RMG);
• Use personnel who are reliable and subject to a contractually binding obligation to observe data privacy and security, to the extent applicable, pursuant to applicable data protection laws;
• Provide regular training in security and data protection to personnel to whom they grant access to Personal Data;
• Implement and maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security, integrity and confidentiality of customer information and Personal Data;
• Provide an annual certification that evidences compliance with applicable data protection laws or permit RMG to audit their compliance;
• Promptly inform RMG about any actual or potential security incident or data breach; and
• Provide all reasonable cooperation to RMG in order to deal with requests from data controllers, data subjects or data protection authorities, as applicable.

The information herein is only provided to illustrate the RMG’s engagement process for subprocessors as well as to provide the actual list of third party subprocessors used by RMG as of the date of this policy (which RMG may use in the delivery and support of its Services).
