Missing Steers Reward Now $26,000

In one of the largest cattle rustling cases in recent memory, the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is offering a cash reward of $25,000 for information to crack the case. Additionally, the Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls is offering $1,000, bring the total reward to $26,000 for any potential tipsters.

According to the TSCRA, 489 steers were stolen from a ranch near Wichita Falls, TX., sometime between November 2018 and August 2019. The racher did not discover the cattle were stolen until shipping time due to the size of the ranch.

The missing Angus-Charolais crossbred steers are estimated to weigh 800 to 1,000 pounds each and have a brand on the left hip. They are valued at $735,000.
