Carter County of Tennessee is home to beautiful mountain scenery: the town of Elizabethton, the Doe River covered bridge, and the “Haunted Extension Office,” located in a home built during the Civil War by a Confederate officer.
Many unusual events have occurred at the home, which was deeded to the UT extension office many years ago. Come on by and sit on the porch! You just might get a close-up experience with the unexplained.
