According to the Hagstrom Report, the U.S. Senate passed a mini-omnibus spending bill including budget plans for USDA, FDA and transportation.
The House version was passed in June.
The deadline for the final 2020 appropriations bill is November 21st, but division over key provisions could stall progress. Analysts say lawmakers may ask for an extension.
