Celebrate Faith Hill’s birthday with these five hits

Aubrey Faith Perry, also know as Faith Hill, was born on September 21st in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This Mississippi girl would become one of the most successful artists in country music, selling tens of millions of albums worldwide. Since releasing her debut album in 1993, she won five Grammys, 15 ACM awards, six AMAs, and would even receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In celebration of her birthday, here are five of her biggest hits.

“Mississippi Girl”

Released in 2005 and written specifically for her by country singer John Rich, this song would take Hill to the top of the Billboard country charts. It was the lead single off of her 2005 Fireflies album and her first number one hit since her last one in 2000.

“It’s Your Love”

Faith Hill married fellow country music star Tim McGraw in 1996 and in 1997, they released the duet “It’s Your Love.” The song would spend six weeks at the number one spot on the Billboard country charts. The music video for the song won the ACM award for best video, along with three other awards. In the music video, Hill is pregnant with the couples first daughter.

“Like We Never Loved At All”

In 2005, the country music power couple of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw released another duet titled “Like We Never Loved At All.” This song was not a traditional love song, but it earned the couple a Grammy in 2006.

“This Kiss”

This crossover hit was the lead single off of Hill’s 1998 album Faith. It would reach the top 10 on Billboard’s chart and would earn a two Grammy nominations.

“Breath”

“Breath” may be one of Hill’s most iconic songs. It was released in 1999 as the first single to her fourth album of the same name. It would become her seventh number one on the U.S. country charts as well as performing very well on the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard country charts, and pop charts. “Breath” would take home the Grammy for “Best Female Country Vocal Performance” in 2000.
