Phasing out COVID food assistance and inflation may worsen hunger crisis

Inflation, combined with the phase-out of pandemic food assistance programs, is expected to worsen the current hunger crisis. That is according to Feeding America, which says that it is becoming harder to serve the same number of people.

VP of Government Relations, Agriculture, and Nutrition, Carrie Calvert spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on where we stand today in regard to the hunger crisis, how inflation will factor in, and what can be done moving forward.
