Another major retailer will be closed on Thanksgiving in 2020.

“There’s no question, the holiday season is going to be very different this year,” Target said in a blog post Monday. “Historically, deal hunting and holiday shopping can mean crowded events, and this isn’t a year for crowds.”

Target will still be offering plenty of holiday deals, including some that start as early October both in stores and online.

The Minneapolis-based retailer also added more than 20,000 products to its pickup and delivery service.

“The investments we’ve made in our business and our incredible team have enabled us to move with flexibility and speed to meet guests’ changing needs during this global pandemic,” says Target CEO Brian Cornell. “This year more than ever, a joyful holiday will be inseparable from a safe one, and we’re continuing to adjust our plans to deliver ease, value and the joy of the season in a way that only Target can.”

Walmart made a similar announcement last week.
