Friday Movie Nights Begin with a Western Classic (Fridays @ 8pm ET)
This November, RFD-TV will present movies on Friday evenings. The new series kicks off with a marathon of the iconic Western Lonesome Dove, bringing viewers the sweeping storytelling and rugged landscapes that define the genre.
“Goodtaste with Tanji” (Mondays @ 6:00 p.m. ET) New to RFD-TV, “Goodtaste with Tanji” invites viewers on a flavorful journey across Texas and beyond. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Tanji Patton, the series celebrates the chefs, restaurants, and dishes that define the region’s diverse culinary scene — along with the wines, cocktails, and spirits that complement them.
“We are thrilled to partner with RFD-TV to bring ‘Goodtaste’ to its audience,” executive producer and show host Tanji Patton said. “With our focus on the Lone Star State plus the amazing cuisine of ‘Cajun’ and ‘Creole’ in Louisiana, traditional dishes of Mexico, and other delicious flavors of the great Southwest, we believe the viewers of rural America will truly enjoy every tasty moment of our adventures in food and wine.”
Each episode serves up a mix of food and travel, visiting standout restaurants, diners, and hidden gems across the Lone Star State, with occasional stops in Louisiana and New Mexico. This special season features memorable visits to the bayous of Southern Louisiana, a “rodeo restaurant” outside San Antonio, Texas Monthly’s #1-ranked barbecue joint, and a five-star
North Texas destination redefining farm-to-table dining. Throughout the journey, Tanji also shares expert insights on wine pairings, value buys, and current trends to help viewers elevate every meal.
