Actor and artist, Callum Kerr released his debut EP— Roots Under Me

Callum is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, July 26th

July 25, 2025 – Today, Scottish-born, Texas-raised, and Nashville-based country singer/songwriter Callum Kerr drops his debut EP Roots Under Me and was recently named one of 10 Country & Americana Artists You Need to Know by Holler Country. “I’m extremely proud of how this turned out” states Callum of the collection out via ONErpm/Huff Co. that was produced by Dann and David Huff. “It’s got a little bit of everything - love songs, drinking songs, heartbreak anthems…basically, a country mixtape with all the essentials.”

On Saturday, July 26th, Callum will make his Grand Ole Opry debut after being invited by country chart-topper Dustin Lynch. “It was a really cool moment to be invited and a real honor” said Callum of the invite. “The last time I was at the Opry I wouldn’t even stand in the circle around the microphone; I wanted to wait until I was invited to stand in that circle. And now, on July 26th I’ll be able to stand there and sing one of my songs.”

Callum has always been immersed in country music, growing up listening to everything from the 1960s classics to today’s hits. In addition to his music career, Callum is an accomplished actor with roles in 13 films and television series. His credits include Netflix’s record-breaking hit drama Virgin River, where he plays young Everett, and the live-action adaptation of One Piece, portraying the fan-favorite character Smoker—part of one of the platform’s most-watched series.
