Closing a Loophole: How new requirements will fix “Product of USA” issue

USDA is proposing new requirements for the “Product of USA” label claim. It is a welcome move for some beef producers who say that it will close a current loophole used to mask product identity.

Lia Biondo with the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on how the loophole is being used, how the new proposal looks to fix the situation, and where we go from here.
