As we have seen with heavy storms across the Midwest this week, natural disasters continue to take a toll on the farm sector.
It is estimated that agricultural losses in 2023 exceeded $21 billion dollars, with roughly half of this amount not covered by crop insurance or the Noninsurance Crop Disaster Assistance Program.
