Hannah Dasher Serves Up Southern Comfort and Hosting Tips in New Cookbook

The country artist’s “Stand By Your Pan” blends vintage-inspired recipes with stories, humor, and Southern hospitality.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — Country and rock artist Hannah Dasher is bringing her signature personality from the stage to the kitchen with a new cookbook focused on vinatge comfort food and Southern hospitality.

Stand By Your Pan features budget-friendly recipes with a modern twist and draws inspiration from Dasher’s four-song EP Scattered, Smothered and Covered. Packed with bold flavors and hostess tips, the cookbook reflects the style and personality that helped build her online following.

Dasher joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Music to discuss the new release and the beauty of sharing a meal with a loved one.

“You don’t show up somewhere empty-handed. If someone has surgery or their cat dies, people bring over food, which is just how I grew up. This book shows that it’s possible to be a rock star at work and a June Cleaver at home.”

In her conversation with RFD News, Dasher says she hopes the cookbook encourages more families to gather around the dinner table again.

“I took that for granted. I thought that everybody grew up having meals every night at the table with their family and home-cooked meals. When I learned that it wasn’t as common anymore, I wanted to preserve that.”

Dasher says the cookbook is designed for all skill levels and adds that even readers who never step into the kitchen can still enjoy the stories and humor throughout the book.

Stand By Your Pan is available for purchase at major retailers, and Scattered, Smothered and Covered is available across streaming platforms.
