Two students from Louisiana may have set a world record when it comes to bass fishing.

The Bossier Parish High School Bass Team hit Caney Lake, located in Jonesboro, Louisiana, for the Bass Nation High School Tournament over the weekend. With a five-fish limit, the team was able to take home the win with 37.12 lbs. Second place was behind them by more than 13 pounds.

Their score is still being authenticated and verified if it is a world record for high school fishing.
