South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson has filed a bill that would authorize the U.S. purchase of the Panama Canal. A move that President-elect Trump has pushed in recent weeks.

Johnson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the importance of the canal, how feasible the purchase is, and potential policy shifts as Trump returns to the White House.
