NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) The National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) is holding their 2016 Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Every fall, the NMPF organizes a joint annual meeting with the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDB) and the United Dairy Industry Association (UDIA). Dairy producers, member cooperatives, Young Cooperators (YCs), industry representatives, staff, and others from all over the country arrive for a few days of speeches, reports, banquets, general sessions, town hall meetings, and award ceremonies. Taking place in a different U.S. city each year, the annual meeting represents an opportunity for those active in the dairy industry to get together and share in their common accomplishments and challenges, as well as discuss the best route for the industry’s future.

At the meeting, attendees will learn more about how national dairy policy and promotion organizations are partnering for progress and creating a world of opportunities for dairy farm families.

RFD-TV will be on site at this year’s meeting. Look for our live reports on the Market Day Report and Rural Evening News. LIVE coverage begins Tuesday, November 1st from 9 am to 2 pm ET.
