Lucas Hoge joined us on “Market Day Report” to talk about his involvement with the annual Wrangler National Patriot Tour for the past eight years. Hoge participates as a tribute and to say thank you to all the hard working the men and women in our military.

“I’ve been honored that they’ve continued to ask me to participate for the past eight years, but it’s always something I’ve wanted to do. So I started dedicating the entire month of may to the military. We call it ‘Military May’ and we devote as much as we can to the military for that month.”

Watch Janet Adkison’s interview with Hoge below.

The 2017 Wrangler National Patriot Tour wrapped in May. Hoge debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN on November 10, 2017. His album, “Dirty South,” was released in April of 2017 and debuted at the top of the Top Country Album Sales charts (No. 5 on the overall Country Albums chart).

You can also watch a recent clip of Hoge singing his holiday song, “Ho Ho Home for the Holidays” off of his newest album, “Christmas Is Here,” available now wherever you can download music. Hoge also recently joined us for our ongoing live concert series, RFD-TV’s Music Mondays on our Facebook page HERE.

When the Nebraska native isn’t writing music or theme songs, he can be found outdoors and is a spokesman for Cabela’s.
