As tough economic times continue to weigh on milk producers, California’s oldest dairy is ending its operation after 125 years of business.

While the Giacomazzi dairy operation is closing, the family is looking to continue in agriculture with almond growing. They have currently converted about 400 acres into almond production.

The Giacomazzi family has been farming on the same property since 1893.
