Judge denies Prop 65 label requirement on roundup in California

A federal judge refused to allow California to label Roundup products as carcinogens, saying that it would be misleading. The court says that every regulator they know of has found glyphosate does not cause cancer and there is not enough evidence to prove otherwise.

The International Agency For Research on Cancer determined the chemical probably causes cancer in 2015, but the group is not a regulatory agency. The Prop 65 label was leading some companies to place the label on the products, even if they were not intended for sale in California.
