After causing a major stir in the ethanol industry, rumors of a possible slew of last-minute biofuel waivers from the EPA have been officially debunked.
Geoff Cooper, the President and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association, speaks with RFD-TV’s own Christina Loren on the concern the rumors sparked, their hopes for the incoming EPA leaders, and updates in ethanol production trends.
According to Cooper, “We’re not 100 percent convinced yet, and there are still four and a half days left of this administration. So, we’re going to continue watching EPA like a hawk, but it does appear that we dodged a bullet here because if EPA had granted more exemptions we know how devastating that would be to our industry...”
