U.S. farm groups are voicing their support following the confirmation of Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack. The Senate officially approved the nomination less than 24 hours ago, with 92 in favor.
President of the National Corn Growers Association, John Linder speaks with RFD-TV’s own on his thoughts on Vilsack’s confirmation, what issues he hopes Vilsack will focus on, and how they plan to work with the new administration.
“NCGA is really excited, I personally am too, that Secretary Vilsack was confirmed. He has a longstanding commitment to support biofuels and such a willingness to listen to corn growers and talk about the issues,” Linder explains.
