Fairness for Farm Workers Act has support from 55 congressman, United Farm Workers

A bill in Congress called the “Fairness for Farm Workers Act” aims to make federal law, what several states have implemented on their own.

This bill would amend the Fair Labor Standards Act to end the overtime and minimum wage exemptions for farm workers. Fifty-five members of Congress sponsored the bill and it has the back of the United Farm Workers.

It is already included in the Biden administration’s immigration plan, called the U.S. Citizenship Act.
