Ticks might be a real problem this summer

Ticks are not only a nuisance, they carry diseases that impact humans and livestock. An extension entomologist explains why they are a problem, year after year.

The biggest problem spots are wooded, shady areas, tall grass, and weeds. The best advice is to wear long clothing if you are in those areas and do routine checks of your animal.
