In less than a decade, all vehicles in Washington state must be electric.
The governor signed a bill banning non-electric cars by 2030. It applies to anything sold, purchased and registered. We do not know how this will apply to agriculture equipment.
The governor created a task force to study the issue as part of a larger $17 billion transportation package. He said transportation is the state’s leading contributor to greenhouse gas emissions.
