EPA rule change required for E-15 ethanol to be sold as gas pumps June 1-September 15

Congress may be asked to step in to help keep E-15 fuel available at the pump this summer.

Iowa Congressman Randy Feenstra says that it will literally “take an act of Congress” to make it happen. Until then, it will be against the law to sell E-15 in most of the country between June and September.

Feenstra tells Brownfield Ag News that the EPA could also intervene, by changing a labeling rule.
