Availability Anxiety: Fertilizer picture is only getting worse for farmers

Concerns continue over fertilizer availability this spring.

Union Pacific Railroad is restricting private car shipments by upwards of 20% in order to reduce congestion. This has left some fertilizer production companies unable to accept new sales for the foreseeable future.

Stone X Economist, Josh Linville, spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about what this latest blow means for the market, if he saw this reduction coming, how producers and the industry can work around it and if there are any alternative solutions.
