For A Good Cause: Junior Beef Expo-winning steers donated to non-profit organization

Supporting youth in agriculture while also donating to a good cause is what the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association is doing.

At the state’s Junior Beef Expo earlier this month, the Association purchased the winning steers and plans to donate the beef to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

The Association’s Charles Hord spoke with RFD-TV’s Janet Adkison about why they decided to buy and donate the beef, how the young producers looked at the show, and how to get involved with this great cause.
