The 2023 U.S. Capitol Christmas tree officially arrived in Washington, D.C. early this morning.
Also known as “The People’s Tree,” this year’s Norway Spruce comes from the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. The U.S. Forest Service announces its arrival this morning.
The truck has been transporting it across the Northeast for the last 13 days.
A tree lighting ceremony will be taking place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on November 28th.
