Rural COVID cases are at a high for the seventh straight week

In Ohio, the governor said that he will order restaurants to close down next week if the spike in cases does not come down. He also announced a statewide mask policy.

In Iowa, new restrictions go into effect tomorrow about public gatherings. No groups larger than 25 for indoors, or a hundred for outdoors and masks must be worn.

In Wisconsin, the governor said that the rate of infection is now worse than New York City, during the pandemic’s peak in April. He says that he will announce new restrictions next week, but state lawmakers have blocked much of his past measures.
