Tyson Food Wrongful Death Update

An amended complaint adds new allegations to a wrongful death lawsuit against Tyson Foods.

The suit now claims managers at the Iowa plant held multiple meetings with language interpreters telling non-English speaking employees that there were no COVID outbreaks or confirmed cases at the plant. That wasn’t the case, and at least one employee died.

Families are suing for fraud and negligence. An amended complaint last month alleged managers had a betting pool on the number of employees who would test positive for COVID-19.
