Farmland prices in the Corn Belt are increasing

Farmland is in high demand in the eastern Corn Belt. As a result, prices for top-quality cropland have increased to levels last seen in 2013.

Farmers National Company’s Randy Dickhunt speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the trends he is seeing, the contributing factors, how it compares to previous years, and if it will continue.

“COVID has brought a realization to individuals who may not have thought much about farmland or our food supply chain. So, for various reasons, they have become more interested in that; the farm-to-table aspect for one. They are also looking at a sustainable, long-term safe investment...,” he explains.
