WHO weighs in on Avian Influenza spread

After reports that humans caught avian influenza, the World Health Organization is weighing in.

The organization says it’s still a low risk to catch the virus. Last week Russia reported seven workers at a poultry plant were infected and it’s now thinking about developing a vaccine.

Other strains of the virus have infected humans before. Avian influenza has been spreading through flocks in Europe and Asia over the last year.
