Sonoma Winery will pay new hire $10,000 a month, rent-free

A California winery will pay one lucky candidate $10,000 a month to work and live rent-free. Murphy-Goode Winery is looking to hire someone for a one-year position with its team in Sonoma.

“We have a job that will instantaneously catapult you into the wine stratosphere,” the company wrote.

The Job posting is getting national media attention from news outlets and even the Tonight Show!

Duties for the year-long position include shadowing the winemaker, acquiring more knowledge about vineyards and winery operations, and learning about commerce.

Applicants must be 21 years or older and authorized to work in the United States. They will be required to submit a video resume explaining why they are the best person for this job.

The position will begin in the fall and candidates can apply from now until June 30.
