Arkansas producers face major flooding challenges

The West and Northern Plains continue to suffer from drought, while portions of the south are dealing with flooding. A state of emergency is declared in southern Arkansas where heavy rains flooded soybean, corn, and rice fields.

It seems as though there is more water than green fields.

Over the weekend, the Arkansas Farm Bureau visited some counties to see the damage firsthand and visit with local farmers.
