The pork industry is taking California’s Prop 12 all the way to the Supreme Court.
The National Pork Producers Council and American Farm Bureau have petitioned the court, asking justices to rule on the constitutionality of one state imposing far-reaching regulations outside its borders.
In July, a federal court upheld a lower court ruling against the groups saying it did not have precedent to continue the case.
