Biofuel Boost: Study shows biofuels has significantly increased farm income

A first-of-its-kind study that examines the impact of the Renewable Fuel Standard on agriculture shows biofuels have boosted farm income by more than $2 billion a year since 2011.

Purdue University Agriculture Economist, Dr. Farzad Taheripour spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about some of the short and long-run price impacts of the RFS for the biofuel industry, if he has found if the policy has improved farm incomes and use of agriculture resources and his biggest takeaway from the study.
