100 head of cattle involved in highway accident

Cheyenne, Wyoming (Wyoming News Now)-- At least twenty head of cattle are dead, and more missing, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

On Thursday, December 10th, an accident occurred involving a tractor trailer that was carrying a hundred head of cattle.

The trailer rolled over on I-25. The cause of the crash is being attributed to driver error.

According to officials, ten cows were pulled from the trailer, already dead; others were euthanized at the scene, due to injuries. At least fifty are still missing.

The responding agencies include Cheyenne Police, Fire and Rescue, Animal Control, and the livestock board.

Update: Cheyenne Animal Control has reportedly found the remaining cattle
