Passion for the future of the beef business was on display this weekend in downtown Indianapolis, for the 2016 Angus Convention hosted by the American Angus Association.
The Angus breed, its members, commercial cow-calf producers, feeders and allied industry partners gathered as a celebration of the year’s successes and a look ahead at quality’s role in overall beef production.
For more than 130 years, American Angus Association members have gathered together to conduct the business of the Angus breed. Today, the Association will host its 133rd Annual Meeting of Delegates, as representatives from each state will elect new members and officers of the Board of Directors, and look to the future for the organization and its nearly 25,000 members.
