NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) With the conclusion of the AQHA World show, champions have been crowned, and outstanding contributors within the Quarter Horse industry have been recognized.
On this edition of Western Sports Round Up, Amy has highlights from the ranch sorting and team penning competitions in Oklahoma City.
Next, you’ll be introduced to the recipient the 2016 Zoetis-AQHA Best Remuda Award, Bartlett Ranch, owned by Dr. H.B. “Woody” Bartlett. This award honors the contributions that ranch horses have made to the heritage of the American Quarter Horse. The award began in 1992 and has since recognized 23 outstanding ranches for their efforts in raising American Quarter Horses, an important tool of their trade.
