There is a new round of pandemic relief available from USDA. The $330 million dollars mostly comes from the Appropriations bill.
$97 million dollars will go toward developing markets for specialty crops and adds to more than $70 million dollars already in the block grant program.
$75 million dollars will be used to incentivize fruit and vegetable purchases by low-income consumers.
Another $80 million dollars will go to cotton producers.
- USDA has also announced a new program to help dairies donate surplus milk to food banks during the spring.
