38,000-pounds of ribs donated to Montana Food Bank

The Montana Farmers Union and Farmers Union Enterprises made a huge donation over the weekend. 38,000 pounds of ribs to the Montana Food Bank!

MFU President Walter Schweitzer stated, “There’s a lot of people out of work. They’re worried about how they’re going to put food on their table, and this is just one way we can help out.”

The delivery went to the food bank in Missoula. The Montana Farmers Union says that as farmers, their job is to feed the world and that is what they are doing.

The food came from Redwood Farms. Farmers Union Enterprises also donated 30,000 pounds of pork ribs back in May as well.
