Despite pests in the state, it is turning out to be a good year for grape growers in California.
The Wine Institute says a 2023 bottle will be one of the best in a couple of years.
“I would say when you’re looking at those gifts at the holidays and your particular wines in, you know, two to three to four years, when you see 2023 on that bottle, it’s going to be a great thing,” says Gino DiCaro.
This is good news for the industry because the year started off with some uncertainty, thanks to stormy weather, and in turn, a late harvest.
