A low-key hurricane season could offer a much-needed break to producers recovering from last year’s storms.
According to the National Oceanic And Atmospheric Administration, each season averages 12 storms. So far, one weaker hurricane and another tropical storm have formed and that’s a decade low. Despite a slow start, other forecasters predict a late-season surge.
Hurricane season runs through November.
