A third union rejects the rail contract deal

Another rail union voted “no” to the proposed labor agreement.

The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers represents about 300 rail employees and says despite rejecting the deal, they will continue negotiating.

This comes just days after the strike deadline was pushed back from its November 19th deadline to December 4th.

Congress still has the option to step in and force a deal if owners and unions cannot reach one.
