A Tribute to Wade Sundell

Here’s a look back at our tribute to saddle bronc rider Wade Sundell following his debilitating injury in 2019 which required multiple surgeries to fix a lacerated liver.

One of the best in saddle bronc today, Wade has not only grown a vast fan base but also qualified for the NFR eight times and twice won RFD-TV’s The American – including in the very first year, before which he predicted he would take the title.

In 2018, Wade won a world title, finishing No. 1 in the PRCA | RAM World Standings after placing in eight rounds. After winning Round 5, he split Round 7, scoring 90 points on Lancaster & Jones Pro Rodeo’s Total Equines Angel Fire.

Watch Wade tonight in Round 7 at the 2018 NFR during the 40 Nights of NFR, 8:00PM ET.
